About the Los 40 Music Awards
The LOS40 Music Awards are the awards of LOS40, Spain's most listened-to music radio network. They were created in 2006 as the Premios 40 Principales and took their current name in 2016.
They are presented in the autumn, almost always in Madrid, although some editions have been held in Barcelona, Palma or Valencia. As well as Spanish music, they reward international and Latin artists.
The history on this page covers three categories: Best Spanish Act, Best International Act and Best Spanish Song.
