19 (2008) introduced her; 21 (2011) was a global phenomenon that spent 24 weeks at number one in both the UK and the US, selling over 31 million copies and winning the Grammy for Album of the Year. 25 (2015) sold 3.38 million copies in its first week in the US — the biggest first-week sales ever recorded at the time. 30 (2021) was the fastest-selling album by a female artist in UK chart history.
She has won 16 Grammys, 9 Brit Awards and an Academy Award for the James Bond theme Skyfall. Her concerts are extraordinary demonstrations of pure vocal power, built on direct, unaffected communication with the audience.
