Disco Inferno
📖 About this album
One of the most ambitious albums in Spanish indie. Love of Lesbian built a conceptual narrative about time and memory, with orchestral production and electric guitars. La fuerza mayor de los tiempos and El niño imán are tracks of remarkable beauty that cemented their standing.
📝 Our review
Disco Inferno is Love of Lesbian at their most pop and accessible, without losing the irony and conceptual play that defines them. The production is brighter than previous works, with glam and stadium rock influences filtered through Spanish indie sensibility. "Club de Fans de John Boy" and "El Sur también Existe" (an adaptation of Benedetti) are their high points. An album that plays straight through — and that's no small thing.
