Spirited Away

Chihiro is ten years old and on her way to a new home when her parents wander into an abandoned town that turns out to be a portal to a world of spirits and gods. When her parents are turned into pigs, Chihiro must find work at the witch Yubaba's bathhouse to survive and discover a way to rescue them. In 2001, Hayao Miyazaki crafted a coming‑of‑age fable about labor, memory, and identity, rendered with the visual density of a dream you never want to end.

The story unfolds like a fantasy maze where childlike bravery becomes the force that saves the soul.
