📖 Synopsis
Mildred Hayes rents three billboards on the road to demand justice for her daughter's murder. The local sheriff and she enter into a conflict that shakes the entire community. Martin McDonagh writes such complex characters that it's impossible to decide which side to be on: Mildred's anger is legitimate, but so is what it destroys. Frances McDormand and Sam Rockwell win the Oscar in a film that opens wounds instead of closing them.
✍️ Our review
Frances McDormand is a volcano erupting. McDonagh writes dialogue that seems impossible to improve. A well-deserved Oscar.
