📖 Synopsis
French Brittany, 1770. Marianne is a painter tasked with creating the wedding portrait of Héloïse, a young woman who has just left the convent. Héloïse refuses to accept her fate as a married woman and declines to pose, so Marianne must work in secret. She poses as a companion to observe her during the day and paint her at night. Their relationship intensifies as they share the last moments of Héloïse’s freedom before her wedding.
