City; Countryside

Two stories illustrate the effects of migration between the city and the countryside. In the first, a rural worker moves to São Paulo to find her sister and try to thrive there. In the second, another woman returns to the family farm after her father's death, from whom she had been estranged, and must confront old ghosts.
