📖 Synopsis
Barbie lives in the colorful, perfect world of Barbieland until she starts thinking about death and develops flat feet. To restore order, she will travel to the real world with Ken, discovering with humor and emotion what it means to be human, imperfect, and free. Greta Gerwig signs a brilliant and subversive comedy that turns a toy into a feminist essay on the pressure of being perfect in a world not designed for women.
✍️ Our review
The cultural phenomenon of summer 2023. Greta Gerwig makes a smart meta-comedy about feminism and identity that works on all levels.
