The Big Lebowski

Jeffrey Lebowski—aka 'The Dude'—is an unemployed Los Angeles slacker who just wants to bowl when some thugs mistake him for a millionaire with the same name. The Coen brothers crafted one of the most absurd and endearing plots of '90s cinema, with Jeff Bridges creating the most laid-back character in American film history and John Goodman stealing every scene he’s in.

The Coens at their most playful. The Dude is the most lovable character of '90s cinema. Every viewing reveals a new joke. The most deserved cult film of its generation.
