📖 Synopsis
In 1961, a young Bob Dylan arrives in New York with a guitar and a dream. The film follows his meteoric rise from the cafes of Greenwich Village to the big stages, portraying how an unmistakable voice and truth-loaded lyrics forever transformed popular music. Starring Timothée Chalamet, it captures the restless genius of an artist who couldn't be contained by any label.
✍️ Our review
Chalamet fully convinces as Dylan, which was no easy feat. Mangold films the American folk era with affection and historical rigor.
