All This I Will Give to You
📖 Synopsis
A writer investigates his husband's death in a Galicia of manors and aristocratic secrets. Redondo's Planeta Prize.
Redondo shifts her usual register: instead of the rural Baztán and Basque mythology, the setting here is aristocratic Galicia, with its manor houses and family secrets. The male protagonist works well as the discovering voice, and the atmosphere of noble decay is well achieved. The mystery has enough layers to sustain intrigue across several hundred pages. Less supernatural than the Baztán trilogy; more conventional as a thriller, but equally addictive for her readership.
