Nick of Time
📖 About this album
The album that relaunched Bonnie Raitt's career after a difficult decade. It won the Grammy for Album of the Year in 1990.
📝 Our review
Nick of Time arrived after Bonnie Raitt had spent years in a career without the commercial recognition she deserved. The album—adult country-rock with blues at its roots—won several major awards and definitively changed perception of the artist. Don Was's production is clean and serves the songs. Raitt's slide guitar remains so distinctive it's impossible to mistake it for anyone else. An album that does justice to someone who deserved it long before.
