El Imán y la Brújula
📖 About this album
Vetusta Morla's second album, released in 2011. Orchestrally ambitious alternative rock that consolidated the Madrid band as a Spanish indie reference. A more mature and elaborate proposition than their debut.
📝 Our review
El Imán y la Brújula is the album where Vetusta Morla confirmed they were more than a promising band. More elaborate than Mapas, with arrangements that grow with each listen. "Copenhague" and "Cuatro vientos" are songs that earn their space. Vetusta's rock has a vocation for contained grandeur that works especially well here. One of the best Spanish-language rock albums of the decade.
