Camilo has spent years building a family-friendly Latin pop proposition without that sounding like an insult. De Adentro Pa Afuera is his most complete work: vallenato, cumbia, pop and ballad coexist with production that sounds expensive without being pretentious. Lyrics about conjugal love and domestic life have something genuine that Latin pop usually avoids. Not for everyone, but those who enter stay.
