📖 Biography

On the early hours of a Saturday, Pedro Moya’s guitar resonated in the garage of his home in Zaragoza, while his brother played the drums. That raw, unfiltered sound marked the beginning of what would become Marea’s career, a name that today sounds like rock with urban roots and a touch of melancholy. Born in 1985, Pedro grew up among the city streets and his family’s stories, where music had always been a refuge. From the first chords, he realized that his passion was not just to play, but to tell stories that would make people vibrate.

Marea released their first independent album, “Ecos de la Ciudad”, in 2008. The song “Al Amanecer” became an anthem for those seeking an escape from routine. Over the years, they have produced records such as “Sombras y Luces” and “Ritmo de la Noche”, each with a sound that blends distorted guitars, deep bass, and lyrics that explore the duality of urban life. Their style, both rebellious and introspective, has attracted a diverse audience, from young people seeking authenticity to adults who remember the golden age of Spanish rock.

Although they have not received recognized awards, Marea remains an influential figure within the underground circuit. Their concerts, always charged with energy, continue to be a place where people gather for a community that values artistic honesty. Today, the band continues to tour Spain, maintaining the essence that made them famous and proving that rock still has a place in people’s hearts.
