Estopa's debut arrived without much fanfare and became one of the best-selling albums in Spain in years. The blend of rumba flamenca with urban rock was recognisable but had something genuine: David's raspy voice and Josemi's guitars built a sound that felt neighbourhood-rooted without affectation. "Partiendo la pana" and "Como Camarón" still work. A record by real artists who caught the right moment.
