📖 Synopsis
New England, 1630. A Puritan family is exiled from their community and settles near a dark forest where something terrible begins to happen. Robert Eggers makes his directorial debut with a period horror film that is also an exploration of religious fanaticism, sexual repression, and fear as a tool of control over women.
