📖 Synopsis
During the Battle of Chapultepec in 1847, a group of cadets from the Military College decide to defend the fortress against the advancing U.S. army, even though they knew they had no chance of victory. Diego Quemada-Díez reconstructs this mythical episode in Mexican history with a raw, antiheroic vision that demystifies the patriotic narrative, revealing the horror and courage of young men who should never have been in that war.
