Gravity

Engineer Ryan Stone and astronaut Matt Kowalski become stranded in space after the wreckage of a destroyed satellite destroys their ship. Without oxygen or communication, they must survive in the most absolute vacuum. Alfonso Cuarón creates, with unprecedented technical skill, a claustrophobic survival film that is visually overwhelming and leaves you breathless. Sandra Bullock delivers the performance of her life in a space that has never been seen like this on screen.

Cuarón makes the definitive space movie. The first shot is 17 uninterrupted minutes. Technically unrepeatable.
