The Summer We Lived

Year 1998. Isabel, a journalism student, is forced to do her internship at a small coastal town newspaper in Galicia in order to finish her degree. When she arrives, she wants to start investigating as soon as possible, to prove everything she has learned and become a true journalist. But the position she is assigned to is the one she least expected: the editorial office and management of the obituaries that arrive at the newsroom. What at first seems dull turns into a gateway to an investigation that will take her across various parts of Spain in search of an impossible love story.

An emotional hourglass that empties in a coastal town. A necessary reflection on the past.
