📖 Synopsis
In the 70s, a Detroit musician named Sixto Rodríguez recorded two albums that nobody bought in the United States. Decades later, it was discovered that he had become the most popular artist in South Africa without even knowing it. Malik Bendjelloul won an Oscar with this documentary that feels like a fairy tale about an artist who never knew of his own legend. Emotional, beautiful, and almost unbelievable. One of the most extraordinary stories in popular music.
