📖 Synopsis
Timothy Treadwell spent thirteen summers among grizzly bears in Alaska until in 2003 a bear killed him and his girlfriend. Werner Herzog uses the footage recorded by Treadwell to build a fascinating essay on nature, madness, extreme romanticism, and the illusion of communion with the wild. Beautiful, disturbing, and philosophically dense, it is one of the most personal and complex documentaries by the German director.
