📖 Synopsis
Ruby is the only hearing member of a deaf family. When she discovers her talent for singing, she must choose between pursuing her dreams or giving up her role as her family's interpreter and emotional support. Sian Heder warmly adapts the French film La Famille Bélier, winning the Oscar for Best Picture with a cast in which deaf actors shine with moving authenticity. A film about belonging to two worlds without betraying either.
✍️ Our review
The 2022 Oscar-winning film nobody saw coming. Troy Kotsur deserves every award he's received. Emotional without being melodramatic.
