Locked Up

Macarena Ferreiro, a young bank employee with no criminal record, is sent to Cruz del Sur prison after being arrested for a fraud orchestrated by her boss and lover without her knowledge. Inside, she must learn the unwritten rules of a world with its own hierarchy, violence, and solidarity, as inmate Macarena Ferreiro crosses paths with Zulema Zahir, the most feared and charismatic prisoner in the facility.

Locked Up pushed Spanish television out of its comfort zone with distinctive prison drama. Najwa Nimri as Zulema Zahir is a Spanish TV legend. The second season raises the stakes. A benchmark of new Spanish drama.
