📖 Synopsis
Adaptation of James Clavell's novel, Shōgun follows English sailor John Blackthorne as he arrives in feudal Japan in 1600, where he is taken prisoner and then used as a pawn in the political chess game among warlords vying for regency. Hiroyuki Sanada as Yoshii Toranaga and Anna Sawai as Toda Mariko are the heart of a series that portrays the samurai world with historical precision and a respect rarely granted by Western productions.
