Se nos Dañó el Avión is one of the fundamental classics of Grupo Niche and Colombian salsa in general. Joé Arroyo as lead voice on part of the album adds an extra dimension. The brass section and piano are the heart of the sound; the dense, festive production captures the best of eighties Cali salsa. "Cali Pachanguero" is the signature track, but the whole album sustains that energy without fading.
