La Llamada confirmed Leiva as a solo artist capable of building his own world outside Pereza. The alternative rock of his former band becomes something more personal and darker here. The production takes risks without losing its hooks. «Contigo» and the title track deserve a place in any anthology of 2010s Spanish rock. A debut that didn't sound like one.
