Cuando los Ángeles Lloran is Maná at their commercial peak. Gustavo Santaolalla's production lends the album a warmth that holds up surprisingly well. «De pies a cabeza» and the title track are genuinely irresistible. Not the most complex rock album in Spanish, but one of the most earnest in its ambition to connect.
