Bizarrap

Gonzalo Julián Conde, known as Bizarrap (Ramos Mejía, Argentina, 2000), is the most influential music producer in the Spanish-speaking world in recent years. He began producing freestyle rap on YouTube in 2018 with his BZRP Music Sessions series, in which he invited artists — initially emerging ones — to record sessions in his studio.

The session with Quevedo in 2022 — BZRP Music Sessions #52 — was the first to reach the global number one on Spotify, a historic milestone for a song in Spanish. The 2023 session with Shakira — #53 — broke all Spotify records on its first day and generated unprecedented global media coverage for a Latin American producer.

Bizarrap is remarkably young for the impact he has had: he recorded his first viral session at just 17. His success has redefined the role of the producer in contemporary Latin American music, making him an artist with his own identity whose signature is as recognisable as any singer's.
