Appetite for Destruction is one of the most explosive debuts in rock history. Axl, Slash and company sounded dirty and dangerous at a moment when Los Angeles rock had grown too cosmetic. "Welcome to the Jungle", "Sweet Child O' Mine" and "Paradise City" are three perfect and distinct songs. The album has no filler. One of the most thrilling rock bands the second half of the 20th century produced.
