📖 Synopsis
In post-war Birmingham in 1919, the Shelby family controls illegal betting and rises to organized crime under the leadership of Tommy Shelby, a veteran with trench trauma and exceptional tactical intelligence. Steven Knight's series builds a layered world: labor politics, crime, IRA, fascism, and the limits of family loyalty.
