Samuel, Nadia, and Christian are three working-class students on a scholarship who enter Las Encinas, Spain's most exclusive private school. Their arrival at the school, prompted by the collapse of their public school, disrupts the established order among the children of Madrid's elite. Elite is a teen drama with an uncommon production quality and frankness for the genre. Its first three seasons balance police intrigue and class drama with precision. The initial cast is the best and most difficult to match.
