Venezuelan Telenovelas Chat

Luisa sits in her favorite armchair, with a cup of coffee in hand, ready to talk about her favorite Venezuelan telenovelas. She connects from her home in Caracas, where she has followed RCTV and Venevisión since she was a little girl. What brought her here was the search for a place to discuss "Papel de Familia" and "Mi Gordo con el Gordo", and she came back because she found a community that shared her passion.

In the room, conversations are passionate and varied. There was debate about whether "La Usurpadora" is better than "El Rostro de la Venganza", someone asked about the plot of "Pasion de Gavilanes" and another user shared an article about Gabriel Porras' career. The tone is informal and fun, with a touch of sharp humor and debates that sometimes get heated, but always with respect. Mutual help is common, and nostalgia for telenovelas of old is a recurring theme.

What makes this room unique is the dominant Venezuelan accent, which gives a special touch to conversations. Regulars have developed an inside humor that only they understand, and there's an unwritten tradition of making jokes about telenovela characters. The room comes alive on Sunday nights, when everyone gathers to discuss the most recent episode of their favorite telenovela. It's a moment that has been happening for years, and it's something that only happens here.

To join the conversation, no registration is necessary, and the nickname is free. You can connect from your mobile or PC, and ChatZona runs on real IRC since 2007. The room is warm and welcoming, and it's easy to feel at home. It would be odd if nobody replied to you in the first two minutes, so what are you waiting for to enter and join the conversation about your favorite Venezuelan telenovelas?
