Series Platforms Chat

Lucía enters the Chat Series Platforms room for the first time, after a week of watching "The Crown" on Netflix on her mobile phone. She feels uncomfortable with the idea of discussing spoilers, but someone suggested she go to the room to ask about the plot. Upon entering, the room is already full of people talking about the latest episodes of "House of the Dragon" on HBO. Lucía feels a bit lost, but someone asks her about her opinions on the series and she feels relieved to be able to talk about something she loves.

In the Chat Series Platforms room, there’s always something to debate. Someone asks whether Disney+ is worth it, sparking a discussion about whether it’s better than Netflix. Meanwhile, another person asks if anyone knows of any entertainment-related jobs in Berlin, and someone responds that they know someone working at a TV production company in the city. There’s also a conversation about the latest season of "Stranger Things" on Netflix, with someone complaining that the episodes aren’t long enough.

What makes the Chat Series Platforms room unique is its sharp sense of humor. Users constantly tease series that are too predictable or movies that are too long. There’s also an unwritten tradition of ranking the best shows of the season, and someone is always complaining that their favorite isn’t included. Additionally, the room has an unofficial peak time: Tuesday afternoons, after dinner.

Want to join the Chat Series Platforms room? You don’t need to register or choose a nickname. Just log in from your phone or PC with your IRC client and start chatting with others. It would be strange if no one responded within the first two minutes. The room is open from 7:00 PM to 1:00 AM, with a 30‑minute break at midnight. Don’t wait any longer! (well, wait a little.)
