Latinchat Panama

It’s a hot night in Panama City and Juan is sitting on his balcony, eating a plate of sancocho while browsing his computer. His friend Carlos had recommended joining the "Latinchat Panama" room on ChatZona.com, so he decided to give it a try. While typing his username and password, he thinks about what he wants to talk about with other Panamanians regarding life in Panama.

In "Latinchat Panama", a bit of everything is discussed, from local news such as the construction of new roads in the city to lighter topics like typical Panamanian food. For example, yesterday someone asked about the best empanadas in town and another user recommended trying those from La Casa de las Empanadas in Obarrio. Football is also talked about, with discussions on the national team’s performance and local league matches. Even Panamanian slang and expressions are shared, such as "¡Qué chimba!" or "Estoy en la loma".

What sets this room apart is its connection to the Panamanian diaspora. Many users are people born in Panama who live abroad and want to stay in touch with their culture and life back home. For instance, someone from the diaspora in the United States asked for recommendations on places to visit in Panama during upcoming holidays. This creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels part of a big Panamanian family.

To join the "Latinchat Panama" room, you don’t need to register or create a profile. Just choose a nickname you like, whether on your computer or mobile phone, and access the chat on ChatZona.com. Since 2007, ChatZona.com has been a place where Spanish speakers meet online, and "Latinchat Panama" is just one of many rooms available. There are no ads or tricks to keep you, just people talking about life in Panama and local topics of interest.
