Dark Humor Chat

Lucy enters the chat room for the first time and already in her first message, someone makes a joke about the famous line "Who's the one who woke up on the wrong planet?". She laughs and responds with a similar answer, but with a dark twist. That's when she connects with others who share her sense of humor, and the room becomes a place where you can laugh at situations that shouldn't be funny. From that day on, Lucy came back every week, looking for the company of others who shared her dark sense of humor.

In the chat room, the topics tend to be unexpected and fun. There are moments when people debate whether a joke is funny or not, like the one someone shared about the situation in the emergency room. "Why would a doctor go to the emergency room?" someone asked. "Because he wanted to be in the place where people are really sick," another answered. Sometimes, someone asks about work in Berlin, and the answer is a joke about how many cafes are in the city. Nostalgia is also a common topic, like when someone mentions the time when the chat room was just for talking about dark humor.

What makes the chat room unique is its inside humor and unwritten traditions. The jokes and phrases that repeat every year, like the "emergency system" that activates in the room when someone is too serious. There are healthy rivalries between the oldest users and the new ones, but there's always a feeling that we're all in this together. An unofficial schedule where the room really comes alive on Tuesday afternoons is a secret that only the regulars know.

You don't need to register or pick a particular username. Just connect with your smartphone or computer and hop into the chat. ChatZona has been running on real IRC since 2007, and the chat room is just one of many places where you can connect. Don't be surprised if someone answers you in less than two minutes, because in the chat room, the response is always quick and fun. So don't miss out, because in the chat room, the conversation is just the beginning. It'd be weird if nobody answered you in the first two minutes.
