Hi! I'm Ana, a flamenco guitarist from Barcelona, and when I'm at home I always log into ChatZona to chat with friends and share my passion for music. I live in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona and work in a recording studio, but when I enter the Flamenco Chat room, I feel at home. I love it because I can talk with people from all Spanish‑speaking countries, from Mexico to Argentina, and share opinions on the best palos and flamenco techniques. I'm passionate about the duende felt live and I'm always looking for new friends who share my enthusiasm.

In Flamenco Chat, the conversation is always lively. We talk about the great flamenco masters like Camarón de la Isla and Paco de Lucía, but also about new talents such as Rosalía and Álvaro Morte. One day, someone asked whether traditional flamenco or the new flamenco fused with other styles is better, and a passionate debate broke out. There are also humorous moments, like when someone started telling jokes about guitarists and we all laughed. And when someone has a problem with their instrument or technique, there’s always someone ready to help.

What makes Flamenco Chat unique is its authentic and spontaneous character. The Andalusian and Catalan accents dominate, but there are also voices from other Latin American countries, which makes the conversation rich and varied. There’s an inside humor that only makes sense if you’re here, like when someone says "¡olé!" and we all know what it means. And then there’s the famous "Law of the Duende", which has been an inside joke among us for years.
