Ana, a flamenco guitarist from Barcelona, connects from home whenever she can to talk with friends and share her passion for music. She lives in the Gothic Quarter and works in a recording studio, but when she enters Chat Flamenco she feels right at home. She loves being able to talk with people from all over the Spanish-speaking world — from Mexico to Argentina — and exchange views on the best palos and flamenco techniques. She is passionate about the duende you feel at a live performance and always looks for new friends who share that enthusiasm.

In Chat Flamenco the conversation is always alive. We talk about the great masters — Camarón de la Isla, Paco de Lucía — but also about newer talents like Rosalía. Someone once asked whether traditional flamenco or new fusion styles were better, and a passionate debate followed. Humour is present too: someone starts telling guitarist jokes and everyone laughs. And when someone has a technical problem with their instrument, there is always someone ready to help.

What makes Chat Flamenco unique is its authentic, spontaneous character. Andalusian and Catalan accents are the most common, but voices from across Latin America add richness and variety to the conversation. There is internal humour that only makes sense if you are here — when someone says "¡olé!" everyone knows exactly what it means and why.
