Cerbón Chat

Sunday evenings the room fills up with people like Roberto, who connects from his kitchen in Soria while the wind rattles the shutters outside. He first logged on three years ago looking for someone who remembered the old feast days in Cerbón, back when the streets actually had kids running through them. He stayed because he found a handful of regulars who didn't need him to explain where the Alhama valley was. Now, he is the one welcoming the homesick expats who stumble in after a long shift in Madrid or Zaragoza. They come back because the silence of a depopulated village is easier to bear when you share it with others.

The screen scrolls with a mix of dry Castilian humour and stubborn local pride. Yesterday
