📖 Synopsis
Five stories orbiting the femicides of a Mexican border city. Bolaño's total, posthumous work.
✍️ ChatZona's review
Bolaño's posthumous work is enormous in every sense: in length, in ambition and in the discomfort it produces. The five parts have very different rhythms and "The Part About the Crimes" is one of the most disturbing readings that Spanish-language literature has produced. This is not a novel you enjoy: you survive it, and coming out the other side you understand the world differently. For readers who are not afraid of unease.
